Grading:   

Final grade is determined by the following scheme:

  • Final Exam 25%
  • First Midterm 20%
  • Second Midterm 20%
  • Homework: 25%
  • Quizzes 10%

In order to pass this course, you must take the final exam!

First Midterm

Thursday, February 13, 3:30-4:50pm,

Second Midterm

Thursday, March 27, 3:30-4:50pm,

Final Exam

Tuesday, May 6, 1:30-4:00pm,

Location: TBA

Bring a photo ID card to every midterm and to the final. No calculators, books, or notes will be permitted on the midterm or the final.

Homework:

Homework is due at the beginning of lecture. Label each homework clearly with your name and class (Math 15A), and staple the pages together. Enumerate your problems and box or circle your answers.

See the syllabus for late homework policy. The lowest two homework grades will be dropped.

Quizzes:

There will be three short (15-20 minute) quizzes. There are no make-up quizzes, although the lowest score will be dropped. The quizzes are tentatively scheduled for Jan 30, March 11, and April 10
