Grading:   

Final grade is determined by the following scheme:

• Final Exam: 25%
• Midterm 1: 17.5%
• Midterm 2: 17.5%
• Homework: 40%

Midterm 1	Friday, October 7, 11:00am-12:20pm, Location: Goldsmith 300
Midterm 2	Tuesday, November 15, 11:00am-12:20pm, Location: Goldsmith 300
Final Exam	Wednesday, December 14, 9:15am-12:15pm, Location: Goldsmith 300

No make-ups are allowed for the midterm or for the final examination without prior approval and a university excuse.

Homework:

Problem sets will be assigned weekly, with some exceptions. Please read and follow the problem set guidelines. Late assignments are subject to penalty.
